We started our online antique and collectible business out of need, we were buying more than we could keep at auctions and estate sales. We had a passion for things for our home, but often wound up buying an entire collection or lot to get that one item we wanted.
We sold on eBay at first and really were only selling to support our habit but it developed into a full time job and now I work full time from home, when I am not on the road looking for the next big bargain.
At home with my Husband of 20 years and myself are three dogs , hence our store name. They are Cade, age 13 a rescue mixed breed, Raison a Labrador Retriever from South Carolina kennel Surry Labradors age 9 and Maggie the devil dog age 5 also from Surry. Working from home without going stir crazy is a challenge, working from home with three labradors, is miraculous they seem to have an uncanny ability to know when you are busiest and manage to get into some funny and no so funny messes. If you run into me on the road, I might have Raison with my, my travel companion. The other two stay at home and mind the store. Maggie, does not travel because.. well she is a devil dog always busy and always into something . Cade does not travel because she is a nervous girl and likes the comforts of home.
We opened our webstore on Ruby Lane two years ago with the same name and hope to be expanding in the coming year to more online venues to reach the maximum number of customers.
We have over 9,000 positive Transactions on eBay, we believe the customer does come first and in these days when every penny counts we want you to feel good about your purchase whether a 5.00 piece of memorabilia or a 500.00 figurine.
